last day in Prague

I have to say that today was not typical for our travel. It used to be that we had to pack all we could into every minute of our trips, not wanting to squander a moment of the wonderful opportunity we were having. We have slowed down on this trip. Our schedule has not been packed, and we don't worry about it. We aren't trying to see everything.

So today we packed up our dirty clothes and went to a laundromat. We had a wonderful breakfast nearby. Vicki found some of the brass markers across the street from the laundromat. We returned with clean clothes, and then I snoozed for a bit. Not exactly action packed, is it?

However, for the evening, we had reservations in the adjacent restaurant, owned by Jonas's family. They had a tasting menu that included pâté, roasted duck leg, and wild boar tenderloin, with appropriate wines to accompany each course.

It was wonderful, one of the best meals in my memory (which, I admit, is not very good). So that capped off a relaxing day. Time to pack for our departure tomorrow.
